In accordance with Section 6 of the Committee's Constitution nominations for the appointment of Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year are requested.

3 APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

In accordance with Section 6 of the Committee's Constitution nominations for the appointment of Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year are requested.

To receive any deputations subject to the concurrence of the Committee.

5 APPLICATIONS FOR REDUCTIONS IN THE STANDARD NUMBER FOR ADMISSIONS (Papers herewith)

The County Education Officer to be invited to present the Local Education Authority's and Governor's cases. To consider the statement of case of the County Education Officer for reductions in the standard number for admissions at the following schools:

        (i) Bidbury Junior School, Bedhampton

        (ii) Brockenhurst Church of England Primary School

        (iii) Chandlers Ford Infant School

        (iv) Fawley Infant School

        (v) Fryern Junior School, Chandlers Ford

        (vi) Grange Community Junior School, Farnborough

        (viii) Hythe Primary School

        (ix) Knights Enham Infant School, Andover

        (x) Knights Enham Junior School, Andover

        (xi) Merdon Junior School, Chandlers Ford

        NOTE:
        In response to the public notices published on 7 September, 2001 three statutory objections have been received, one relating to Brockenhurst Church of England Primary School and two relating to Merdon Junior School, Chandlers Ford. The County Education Officer's comments on these statutory objections are included in the committee paperwork.

6 SCHOOL ORGANISATION BUDGET 2001/02 & 2002/03 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Treasurer and Chief Executive setting out the budget of the Committee as required by the Schools' Standards and Framework Act 1998.
