The English Hockey Association has been working with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Active Sports Partnership to develop a hockey plan that will provide accessible opportunities for young people to participate and improve in the sport of hockey over the next 5 years.

The plan will be submitted to the National Sports Lottery in December.

In year 1, the plan requires a budget of £43,000 that will be made up of 20 % partnership funding, (including the District Councils, Unitary Authorities and Governing Bodies of Sport) and 80% National Sports Lottery Funding. The partnership is currently £1,500 short of its target. This grant will enable English Hockey to meet this shortfall in partnership funding and enable the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Partnership to draw down a further 80% of lottery funding.
