1 Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That the capital programme for 2002/03 to 2005/06 as set out in Appendix 1 be approved for submission to the Cabinet.

2 Reason

In order that the capital programme for the Recreation and Heritage service may be considered for inclusion in the County Council's capital programme for 2002/03 to 2005/06.

3 Other options considered and rejected:

A range of possible capital schemes have been considered in the process of developing the proposed capital programme. Those selected meet the priorities set out in the County Council's capital strategy.
