The following decisions are sought:

· that the Annual Library Plan 2001 be submitted to the County Council.

· that the Annual Library Plan 2002 include the outcome of the Best Value Review of the Library Service

2. Reasons for the recommendation

· the Annual Library Plan needs approval by the County Council to

comply with the requirements of the Department of Culture, Media

and Sport
