2. SOUTH HAMPSHIRE STUDY - PRESENTATION AND REPORT

(Report herewith)

To receive a presentation and consider a report of the Portsmouth City Planning Officer, Hampshire County Planning Officer and Southampton Head of Planning Policy to update the Panel on progress on the South Hampshire Study.

3. CURRENT PROJECTS AND IMPLICATIONS OF THE PLANNING GREEN PAPER AND PROPOSED NATIONAL PARK (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Hampshire County Planning Officer, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Head of Policy Planning summarising the work being undertaken to implement, monitor and enhance the information available to the public in respect of the Hampshire County Structure Plan 1996-2011.

4. HAMPSHIRE PARKING STRATEGY AND STANDARDS 2002 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Hampshire County Surveyor, Portsmouth City Planning Officer and Southampton Head of Planning Policy advising Members of the modifications to the parking strategy and standards, including guidance from Central Government.

5. DATE, TIME AND VENUE OF NEXT MEETING

To arrange a date, time and venue for the next meeting of the Panel.

NB: Following the meeting, there will be a coach tour of sites in Portsmouth.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
