1. Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

1.1.1 That approval be given to the attached design project appraisal for the provision of additional new teaching accommodation.

1.1.2 That approval be given to the negotiation of this contract with Brazier Construction, the contractor currently undertaking works on this site.

2. Reason(s)

2.1 To provide additional Basic Need places following receipt of funding from the former DfEE.

2.2 Brazier Construction are performing well on site with the current phase of works and negotiation of this next phase of works will contribute to best value.
