1. Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

1.1.1 Approval be given to the attached design project appraisal for the provision of new teaching accommodation to provide additional Basic Need teaching spaces and conversion and refurbishment of existing classrooms.

1.1.2 Approval be given to the negotiation of this contract with TAB Projects Ltd.

2. Reason(s)

2.1 To provide additional Basic Need places and refurbished teaching accommodation following receipt of funding from the former DfEE.

2.2 TAB Projects Ltd have previously successfully carried out a refurbishment scheme at this school and have also carried out a number of similar County Council projects under a Develop and Construct arrangement.
