Report of the Convenor of the North Panel
1. Introduction
1.1. During this period four new Independent Custody Visitors have joined the Panel and have just completed their six month probationary period. Two Panel meetings took place during this period, the first attended by Acting Superintendent Graham Jepson and the second by Superintendent Graham Apps.
1.2. The slight increase in the number of visits was to enable training of the new Independent Custody Visitors to take place without delay.

3.1. Panel members have been well received by Custody Staff and continue to enjoy a good relationship with them.
