To consider a report of the County Planning Officer informing the Committee of the Government's options and proposals for reforming planning obligations.

6. NEW PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURES PROCESSING MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Planning Officer which summarises the main proposals for dealing with major infrastructure projects and recommends a response.

7. HAMPSHIRE WATER MEADOWS POLICY (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Planning Officer detailing the background to the drafting of the Hampshire Water Meadows Policy for inclusion in a Hampshire County Council publication.

8. INTRODUCTION OF ON-STREET PARKING CHARGES IN WINCHESTER (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Surveyor detailing the proposed introduction by Winchester City Council of on-street parking charges for limited period parking spaces in the City centre for which no fee is currently payable.

9. NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT INITIATIVE

To consider a report of the County Surveyor and the County Planning Officer detailing the background to the Natural Resource Management (NRM) initiative, its objectives and scope of the emerging plans that will guide work in the wider community and within the County Council respectively.

10. ENVIRONMENT POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE - FORWARD PLAN (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Executive, County Surveyor and County Planning Officer setting out issues which the Committee may wish to discuss at future meetings.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
