1. Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That approval be given to the revised Street Lighting Policy.
2. Reason
2.1 The Street Lighting Policy was reviewed by a Best Value working party in late 2000 and was accepted by the Environment Policy Review Committee on 23 January 2002 (attached as an appendix).
2.2 The Policy has been updated to bring it into line with revised British and European standards as well as incorporating sustainability, crime and disorder and recycling practices.
3. Other Options Considered and Rejected - Not applicable.

5. Dispensation granted by the Standards Committee - Not applicable.
