1. Summary
1.1. The following decisions are sought:
To appoint Councillor M.S. Geddes as a Trustee of the Explosion Museum, Priddy's Hard, Gosport.
2. Reason
2.1. The County Council was involved in developing the museum in Priddy's Hard in partnership with Gosport Borough Council for several years in the mid 1990s. In October 1998 the Borough Council decided to cease working with the County Council and work with Portsmouth City Council. The museum opened in spring 2001 and a Trust was set up to oversee the running of the museum, known as Explosion.
2.2. The County Council has now received a request from Gosport Borough Council to appoint a Trustee to the Trust that has been set up to run the Explosion museum.
