1.1. The following decision is sought:

That Councillor M.S. Geddes be appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Naval Fire Power, Priddy's Hard, Gosport.

2. Reason

2.1. An invitation has been received from the Chairman of this Museum for the County Council to appoint a member to the Board of Trustees. This meets four times a year in March, June, September and December. In addition, each Trustee sits on one or more of four working groups. The Museum traces the development of naval armaments from gunpowder to the Exocet missile and tells the story of the designers, makers, seamen and female munitions workers who worked with these armaments over the century. Councillor M.S. Geddes is nominated to this new appointment.
