    To consider a report of the Chief Executive detailing the revised Terms of Reference and renaming of this Panel.

3. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN SETTLEMENT AND REVISED CAPITAL PROGRAMMES FOR 2001/02 AND 2002/03 TO 2005/06 (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the County Surveyor updating Members on the Local Transport Plan settlement and on the basis of this settlement, a review of the capital programmes for 2001/02 and 2002/03 to 2005/06.

4. PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT UPDATE (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the County Surveyor updating Members on particular proposals within the South East Hampshire Transport Strategy area.

5. STRATEGIC STUDIES PROGRESS REPORT (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the County Surveyor detailing the progress of the South Coast Corridor Multi-Modal Study (SoCoMMS) and South Hampshire Study.

6. SOUTH HAMPSHIRE RAPID TRANSIT 1 - PROGRESS REPORT (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the County Surveyor updating Members of recent progress on the continued development of the South Hampshire Rapid Transit (SHRT1) project now that the procurement process timetable has commenced.

7. A3 PUBLIC TRANSPORT CORRIDOR (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the County Surveyor updating Members on the progress of this element of the South Hampshire Rapid Transit (SHRT) network.

8. HAVANT BOROUGH DISTRICT-WIDE LOCAL PLAN

                  (Report herewith)

    To receive an oral report of the Head of Engineering, Havant Borough Council updating Members on recent progress.

9. DATE, TIME AND VENUE FOR NEXT MEETING

    To confirm the proposed date, time and venue for the next meeting of the Panel on Monday 11 November 2002 at 2.00 pm at The Castle, Winchester.

Car parking has been arranged - please see attached map for details. Upon arrival, please report to Reception and you will be directed to the Council Chamber. Refreshments will be served from 9.30am in the Members Room.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
