4. DETERMINATION OF SCHOOL ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS 2003/04

To consider a report of the County Education Officer on the outcome of consultations relating to the admission arrangements to community and voluntary controlled primary and secondary schools for 2003/04. This report represents a key decision, to be taken by the Executive Member for Education on 22 March 2002.

5. EXCLUSIONS FROM SCHOOL: CONSULTATION PAPER (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer on consultations undertaken by the Department for Education and Skills as part of the proposed review of guidance on exclusions from school.

6. HAMPSHIRE EDUCATION ICT STRATEGIC PLAN (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer on the strategic plan for the development of Information Communication Technology (ICT) throughout Hampshire's Education Service. The report will be referred for adoption to the Executive Member for Education on 22 March.

7. REVENUE BUDGET MONITORING 2001/02 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Treasurer and County Education Officer on the education revenue budget for the current year.

8. PROPERTY AND CAPITAL FUNDING ASPECTS OF EARLY YEARS PROVISION (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer on the capital implications of early years provision on County Council sites. This report will be referred for decision to the Executive Member for Education on 22 March.

9. BEST VALUE PROGRAMME - YEAR 3 (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the County Education Officer on the reviews relating to education welfare services; and education services for vulnerable children and those educated out of school or excluded.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.

Appointed and co-opted members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
