1 Summary

1.1 This report lists acknowledgements and thanks from grant recipients, sets out a summary of the project development grant applications received since the last meeting of the panel on 27 November 2001 and recommends to the Executive Member for Education allocations totalling £12,500.

1 Acknowledgements

1.1 Members will be pleased to learn that letters of thanks in acknowledgement of grants or reports of trips undertaken have been received from Hampshire Association of Parish and Town Councils, Youth Clubs Hampshire and Isle of Wight. They are tabled in the acknowledgements file and are available at the meeting for Members' information.

2 Budget 2001/02

2.1 The revenue grant budget for the 2001/02 financial year and details of grant allocations already determined by the previous meetings of the sub-committee are as follows:

Recommendation

That it be a RECOMMENDATION to the Executive Member for Education:

That the grant allocations as set out in the appendix and summarised below, totalling £12,500 be approved;

That the remaining £23,765 be allocated to the planned building improvements at Totton Youth Centre.
