Grants to Voluntary Organisations

The following decision is sought:

1 Summary

1.1 That grants be awarded as follows:

Hampshire Schools Sports Federation HSSF £7,520

British Trust for Conservation Volunteers BTCV £10,360

1.2 That the outstanding applications expected from the Hampshire Dyslexia

Association, INTECH and the National Children's Bureau be considered upon receipt.

1.3 That an ex-gratia payment of £5,000 be made to Robert May's School, Odiham as

a contribution towards the loss incurred in cancelling a school trip to Nepal in the

aftermath of the September 11 tragedy in New York.

2 Reason

2.1 To provide continued support to voluntary organisations which meet the County Council's criteria.
