To consider a report of the Wessex Youth Offending Team Manager and Chief Executive, Hampshire County Council setting out proposals to amend the terms of reference of the Committee.
3. YOUTH JUSTICE PLAN 2002-05 (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Wessex Youth Offending Team Manager detailing the Youth Justice Plan for 2002-05.
4. A SURVEY INTO THE LEVELS OF SATISFACTION OF SENTENCERS IN THE YOUTH COURTS (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Wessex Youth Offending Team Manager detailing the results from the Sentencer Satisfaction Survey. The Committee will also receive a presentation from the research team.
5. THE USE OF THE ASSET MANAGEMENT TOOL IN WESSEX YOUTH OFFENDING TEAM (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Wessex Youth Offending Team Manager concerning various risk factors associated with the likelihood of re-offending.
6. THE USE OF CUSTODIAL SENTENCES AND THE SECURE ESTATE FOR YOUNG OFFENDERS (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Wessex Youth Offending Team Manager detailing the performance in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in relation to Measure Four which is to "reduce the use of secure estate".
7. OPERATION AND VALUE FOR MONEY REVIEW OF THE WESSEX YOUTH OFFENDING TEAM (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Wessex Youth Offending Team Manager updating the Committee on progress with the review.
8. ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE
RECOMMENDATION:
The Committee are asked to note that the annual conference will be held on Monday 1st July, 2002 at Netley Police Headquarters commencing with a buffet lunch at 12.30 p.m. The Chairman would also like to ascertain any topic areas for the conference.
