1. Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That the consultation programme for the Western Hampshire Transport Strategy be approved.
2. Reason
2.1 The Western Hampshire Transport Strategy is contained in the Local Transport Plan. Development and implementation of the strategy will contribute to the success of the Local Transport Plan and in meeting the aims and objectives set out there within. The report to the Western Hampshire Transportation Strategy Panel on 5 March 2002 is attached.

3.1 No other options considered.
