Crime Prevention Panel Annual Review 2001/02

1. Introduction

1.1 This paper asks the Panel to consider the attached draft document for adoption as its Annual Review for 1 April 2001 to 31 March 2002.

1.2 As last year, the intention of the style of the document is to show the Panel's work in a professional light and to use the review document as a promotional tool as well as a true record of its activity over the year.

1.3 The Review has been drafted by the Crime Prevention Consultant, in discussion with the Chairman of the Panel, the Clerk and the Media Services Officer.

2. Opportunities for amendments

2.1 This document is a final draft, but amendments may be incorporated in the final version. This will be printed as soon as possible, once the contents are agreed. The Review will then be circulated and a news release will support its launch.

3. Distribution

3.1 The following is a suggested distribution list for the Annual Review 2001/02.

4. Costs

4.1 The cost of producing the Review has been kept to a minimum, thanks to internal design and production work.

5. Recommendation

    (a) That the Annual Review for 2001/02 be approved

    (b) That the Panel agree the distribution list for the Review.
