98 EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RESOLVED:

That by virtue of Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for consideration of the following item.

99 WORKFORCE PLANS 2002/03

The Cabinet considered the confidential report of the County Personnel and Training Officer (Item 2 in the Minute Book) on Workforce Plans for 2002/03. Following a short introduction by the County Personnel and Training Officer, the Cabinet examined each Workforce Plan in detail with representatives from each Department attending to present their Plans and answer Member questions. At the conclusion of a full discussion, the Cabinet endorsed the Workforce Plans submitted by Departments in respect of the year 2002/03 and adopted the detailed recommendations within individual Plans as appropriate. A copy of the decision sheet is set out as Appendix 1 to these Minutes.
