1. Summary

1.1. The following decision is sought:

That Councillor Mrs. Banks be appointed as the County Council's representative on the Forest Arts Centre Management Advisory Committee.

2. Reasons for the Recommendation

Councillor Rice has resigned as the County Council representative on the Forest Arts Centre, New Milton Management Advisory Committee. A replacement is needed to be appointed and Councillor Mrs. Banks is recommended.

Councillor Mrs. Banks is the local member for New Milton and would be a suitable representative. This is regarded as an appointment to an outside body and is therefore a matter for the Executive Member to determine.

3. Other options considered and rejected - not making an appointment. This is not recommended as it would result in the Council having no representation on this body.
