To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 17 April 2002.

2. HAMPSHIRE COUNTY STRUCTURE PLAN POLICY H4 MONITORING PAPER (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Planning Officer in respect of a monitoring paper published in April 2002 for consultation, which assesses the need for the release of reserve provision of land for house building.

3. PORTSMOUTH CITY LOCAL PLAN: FIRST REVIEW - REVISED DEPOSIT DRAFT (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Planning Officer and the County Surveyor summarising the changes that have been made to the First Deposit Draft of the plan as a result of the County Council's objections.

4. SOUTH EAST ENGLAND REGIONAL TRANSPORT STRATEGY - CONSULTATION (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Surveyor and County Planning Officer examining the key issues of particular interest to Hampshire in respect of the South East England Regional Transport Strategy and provides comments in response to the public consultation exercise.

5. SAFETY FENCES AND PARAPETS ON BRIDGES OVER RAILWAYS

To consider a report of the County Surveyor which reviews the provision of safety fences on bridges over railways in light of the recently published reports by the Highways Agency and the Health and Safety Commission following the Selby train crash.





6. ENVIRONMENT POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE - FORWARD PLAN
(Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Executive, the County Surveyor and the County Planning Officer which details issues which the Committee may wish to discuss at future meetings.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
