1. REVIEW OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PROVISION IN SOUTH WEST BASINGSTOKE

To consider the decision of the Executive Member for Education following the call-in procedure being exercised in accordance with the Constitution. As the basis for discussion, the following documents are attached:

(i) The decision reached by the Executive Member for Education on 23 May 2002.


(ii) The draft Minute of the Education Policy Review Committee on 21 May, relating to this item.


(iii) The additional information circulated for Members following the seminar.


(iv) The original report by the County Education Officer.


(v) Statement by the Executive Member for Education setting out the reasons for his decision.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.

Appointed and co-opted members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
