AT A MEETING of the APPOINTMENT PANEL set up to make appointments to the posts of Head of Business Development and Head of Countryside Services held at The Castle, Winchester on Monday 24 June 2002.

PRESENT:

Councillors: J. Waddington (Chairman); P.J. Chegwyn; A.P. Collett; D.F. Gale, MBE; Jo Kelly.

1. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

RESOLVED:

That Councillor Waddington be appointed Chairman for the meeting.

2. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RESOLVED:

That, by virtue of Paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting.

3. APPOINTMENT OF HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The Panel interviewed Stuart Dorward.

RESOLVED:

That Stuart Dorward be appointed Head of Business Development.

4. APPOINTMENT OF HEAD OF COUNTRYSIDE SERVICES

The Panel interviewed David Sayce and John Tickle.

RESOLVED:

That John Tickle be appointed Head of Countryside Services.
