1. Summary

1.1. The balance of the budget available for grants to voluntary organisations in 2002/03 is
£122,615 after allocating for the grants approved at the last decision day, commitments made in previous years and sums earmarked for specific purposes.

1.2. The following decisions are sought:

(i) That approval be given to grants to voluntary organisations as listed below:-

(ii) That from 2002/03 responsibility for funding the County Council's contribution to the Southampton Hall of Aviation be transferred to Recreation and Heritage with an accompanying budget transfer of £15,000.


(iii) That from 2002/03 a transfer of £15,000 to Recreation and Heritage from the grants to voluntary organisations budget be agreed, to finance grants to independent and voluntary museums.
