1. Summary

1.1. The following decisions are sought:

(i) That the proposals outlined in the report for policies and priorities be adopted with effect from 1 April 2003


(ii) That the proposals outlined in the report for the process be developed so that arrangements are in place for the financial year starting 1 April 2003.

2. Reasons

2.1. The Youth Panel at its meeting on 2 July 2002 considered the findings of the review of Grant Aid and recommended to the Executive Member for Education changes to ensure that resources be used effectively to meet Hampshire County Council and County Youth Service Strategic aims.

2.2. A copy of the report and appendix submitted to the Youth Panel is attached for information.
