RESOLVED:

That Councillor T.K. Thornber, CBE be appointed Chairman for the meeting.

2 EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RESOLVED:

That, by virtue of paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting.

3 APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENT

The Panel interviewed Mr. T. Greenwood, Alison Quant, Mr. D. Tarrant and Mr. S. Eden.

RESOLVED:

That Alison Quant be appointed Director of Environment.
