1. Summary
1.1 The following decisions are sought:
(i) That the New Forest Committee be thanked for the opportunity to comment on the draft New Forest Strategy.
(ii) That the draft New Forest Strategy be supported, subject to the amendments set out in Section 2 of the attached report to the Environment Policy Review Committee.
2. Reason
2.1 The County Council has been and remains closely involved with the New Forest Committee and with the production of the draft New Forest Strategy. The Strategy is a key document that will influence many aspects of life in the New Forest, including the role of the County Council.
3. Other Options Considered and Rejected - None.
4. Conflicts of Interest Declared by the Decision Maker or a Member or Officer consulted - None.
5. Dispensation granted by the Standards Committee - Not applicable.
6. Reason(s) for the Matter being dealt with if Urgent - Not applicable.
