1. Summary
1.1 This report covers the following issues:
(i) East Hampshire CHARTS (Central Hampshire Rural Transport Strategy) schemes;
(ii) Petersfield Area Transport Strategy schemes; and
(iii) Pedestrian/Cycle Crossing schemes.
2. CHARTS Schemes
2.1 The programme and progress on the East Hampshire CHARTS schemes are attached as Appendix 1.
3. Petersfield Area Transport Strategy Schemes
3.1 The programme and progress on the schemes are attached as Appendix 2.
4. Pedestrian/Cycle Crossing Schemes
4.1 Two schemes in East Hampshire are included in the 2002/03 capital programme:
(i) Butts Road, Alton (Toucan) £40,000
-detailed design in progress, including
cycleway link
(ii) Ramshill, Petersfield (Puffin) £35,000
- near Churchers College; detailed
design in progress.
Recommendation
That the report be noted.
