6. REVIEW OF LOCAL BUS SERVICE FUNDING (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Surveyor containing information designed to assist the Committee in its consideration of the County Council's approach to the funding of local bus services.

A detailed programme for this item is attached for information.

7. SOUTH EAST ENGLAND REGIONAL TRANSPORT STUDY - REGIONAL PORTS STUDY (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Planning Officer. Subsequent to the publication of a draft Regional Transport Strategy by the South East England Regional Assembly, a Regional Ports Study has been produced. This report examines the key issues in the Regional Ports Study and provides comments to the South East England Regional Assembly on the study and the preparation of policies for the Regional Transport Strategy.

8. DRAFT HAMPSHIRE WATER STRATEGY (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Planning Officer following recent publication of a draft version of the Hampshire Water Strategy for consultation. The Committee is asked to contribute to the consultation process and in particular to comment on the action plan.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
