The Committee are asked to consider the consultation document on the draft regulations and guidance on the Learning and Skills Council's new powers under section 72 of the Education Act 2002.

ST MARK'S CHURCH OF ENGLAND (AIDED) PRIMARY SCHOOL, HATCH WARREN - ENLARGEMENT AND ESTABLISHMENT OF SPECIAL UNIT

The County Education Officer and the Governing Body of St. Mark's Church of England School (Aided) Primary School be invited to present their respective cases.

The Committee are also asked to consider the statement of case for the discontinuation of Beech Down Primary School with effect from 31 August, 2004 and the statement of case for the enlargement and establishment of a special unit at St. Mark's Church of England School (Aided) Primary School with effect from September, 2004. The Committee are also asked to consider the letters of objection received to these proposals following publication of notices.
