1. Summary

1.1. The Panel are asked to recommend to Council a nomination for the appointment of Vice-Chairman.

2. Appointment - Vice-Chairman

2.1. At the County Council meeting on 19 September 2002, Councillor R.J. Kimber was formally appointed Chairman of the Panel and accordingly the Panel are asked to recommend to Council a nomination for the appointment of Vice-Chairman.

The Panel are also asked to note that following the resignation of Councillor J.K. Glen, the Conservative vacancy has now been filled by Councillor Mrs Eunice Byrom.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Panel recommend to Council a nomination for the appointment of Vice-Chairman.
