6. SOUTH EAST ENGLAND REGIONAL TRANSPORT STRATEGY - CONSULTATION (Report herewith)

To receive a report of the Director of Environment highlighting the key issues of particular interest to South East Hampshire in respect of the draft Regional Transport Strategy. In addition, it provides comments in response to the public consultation recently agreed by the Executive Member for Environment.

7. SOUTH COAST MULTI-MODAL STUDY AND SOUTH HAMPSHIRE TRANSPORT STUDY (Report herewith)

To receive a report of the Director of Environment which updates on the current position regarding the South Coast Multi-Modal and South Hampshire Transport Studies.

8. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN - ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT 2002

To receive a report of the Director of Environment on the delivery of the Local Transport Plan and the content of the County Council's second Annual Progress Report submitted to the Government Office for the South East and the Department for Transport on 31 July 2002.

9. TRANSPORT CAPITAL PROGRAMME AND SCHEME - PROGRESS REPORT (Report herewith)

To receive a report of the Director of Environment which sets out progress on schemes included in the South East Hampshire Transport Strategy programmes until 2005/06.

10. SOUTH HAMPSHIRE RAPID TRANSPORT (Report herewith)

To receive a report of the Director of Environment which provides an update on progress on the South Hampshire Rapid Transit (SHRT) Light Rail scheme and the development of the wider SHRT network.

11. A3 PUBLIC TRANSPORT CORRIDOR (Report herewith)

To receive a report of the Director of Environment which updates on the progress of the current phase of the South Hampshire Rapid Transit network.

12. DATE OF NEXT MEETING

It is proposed to hold the next meeting of the South East Hampshire Transportation Strategy Panel on Wednesday 26 March 2003 at 2.00 p.m. in The Wellington Room, The Castle, Winchester.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
