To consider a report of the Chief Constable analysing staff turnover for the last six months (April to September 2002) and assessing trends compared with the figures for previous years.

4. RECRUITMENT UPDATE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Constable illustrating the trends in police officer recruitment.

5. SICKNESS ABSENCE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Constable addressing sickness absent levels and identifying trends for police officers and support staff from April to September 2002.

6. POLICE REFORM ACT 2002 - HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Clerk and Chief Constable with regard to the transfer of certain responsibilities and liabilities under Health and Safety Legislation with effect from April 2003.

RECOMMENDATION:
