5. BUILDING A REPLACEMENT FOR JOHN HUNT OF EVEREST SCHOOL AT NORTH POPLEY, BASINGSTOKE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer relating to the outcome of consultations on the proposal to relocate John Hunt of Everest School to a new site at North Popley.

6. OUTCOME OF CONSULTATIONS ON THE PROPOSED SIX-TERM SCHOOL YEAR (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer on the responses to the programme of public consultations undertaken on the proposed reconfiguration of the school year to six-terms.


This item will be illustrated by a short presentation by Miller Associates who carried out the collation and analysis of the results.

7. EDUCATION OTHER THAN AT SCHOOL (EOTAS) SERVICE AND SCHOOL EXCLUSIONS 2001-02 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer on the restructuring of the EOTAS service, on various accommodation issues, and on permanent exclusions from Hampshire schools during the 2001/02 academic year.

8. OVERVIEW OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT PLAN 1999-2002 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer on achievements and outcomes arising from the County Council's first Education Development Plan.

9. REVENUE BUDGET MONITORING 2002/03 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Treasurer and County Education Officer on the current year's revenue budget.

10. BUDGET REVIEW: EDUCATION SERVICE OUTTURN 2001/02; SCHOOLS AND EDUCATION BUSINESS UNITS' BALANCES AT 31 MARCH 2002 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer relating in particular to the balances held by schools and by education business units at the end of the last financial year.

11. PUPIL ATTITUDE SURVEY 2002 (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the County Education Officer setting out the results of surveys carried out into the attitudes of pupils in primary and secondary schools.

12. MEMBERS' QUESTIONS



County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.

Appointed and co-opted members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
