1. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

RESOLVED:

That Councillor T K Thornber CBE, be appointed Chairman of the Meeting.

2. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RESOLVED:


That, by the virtue of Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12a of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting.

3. APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENT (DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION)

The Panel considered applications for the post of Assistant Director of Environment (Design & Implementation). Mr R Chinn, Mr D McKibban and Mr S Reynolds were interviewed.
