2 EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

RECOMMENDATION:

That, pursuant to Paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 12(A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting.

To note the procedure to be adopted by the Appeal Panel.

4 APPEAL AGAINST DISMISSAL

To consider the appeal submitted by a member of staff against the decision to dismiss. The evidence submitted is as follows:

    (a) The Management Case (Yellow Paper)

    (b) The Appellant's Case (Salmon Paper)

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee/sub-committee/panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
