1 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. 4 TERMS OF REFERENCE (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Chief Executive on proposed terms of reference for the Panel.
For reference, the membership of the Panel comprises Councillors Cartwright, Dash, Estlin, House, Kirk, Scott, Thornber (Chairman) and Wheeler.
5 THE COUNCIL CHAMBER SOUND SYSTEM (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services on proposed acoustic improvements to the sound system in the Council Chamber.
6 SPRINKLER SYSTEMS (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services on the proposal that in future sprinkler systems should be installed in all new County Council buildings. This was the subject of a motion put forward by Councillor K. Chapman at the September meeting of the Council.
The report as circulated to the Executive Member, Policy and Resources, on 6 November 2002 is attached.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee/sub-committee/panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
