1. ROMSEY TOWN CENTRE ENHANCEMENT

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval for implementation, subject to a number of conditions, of proposed enhancements for Romsey Town Centre.

2. CONSULTATION PAPER FROM THE OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER: REVIEW OF THE PLANNING ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM IN ENGLAND

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the background, and the County Council's response, to the consultation paper on the Review of the Planning Enforcement System in England.

3. REVIEW OF CYCLING POLICY AND STRATEGY

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the outcome of a review that has been undertaken in respect of the County Council's cycling policies, strategies and infrastructure programmes as associated with the Local Transport Plan (LTP) for 2001 to 2006.

4. ACCESSIBLE TRANSPORT STRATEGY

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking a decision that the annual report and work programme for the Accessible Transport Strategy be agreed.

5. COMMUNITY TRANSPORT INITIATIVES IN HART

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking agreement of the arrangements for the Hart Community Transport Scheme, Transport to Hospital Service and Rural Transport Links Service in order that applications for funding these schemes can be submitted to the Countryside Agency.

6. PARISH LENGTHSMEN

To consider a report of the Director of Environment considering whether Lengthsmen should be introduced to Hampshire as a means to improve highway maintenance in rural areas.

7. EASTLEIGH BOROUGH COUNCIL DECRIMINALISATION OF ON-STREET PARKING ENFORCEMENT

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval for the submission of an application to the Secretary of State to designate the Borough of Eastleigh as a Special Parking Area/Permitted Parking Area and approval to complete a separate agreement between the County Council and Eastleigh Borough Council to delegate functions and services.

8. PROJECT APPRAISAL: NETWORK MONITORING AND PERFORMANCE USING FLOATING VEHICLE DATA (FVD)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval to procure the information system Floating Vehicle Data (FVD) for use as a control room facility within the Traffic and Travel Information Centre (TTIC).

9. PROJECT APPRAISAL: PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES AT BOURNEMOUTH ROAD/LEIGH ROAD, EASTLEIGH

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for the installation of pedestrian facilities at the existing traffic signals at the Bournemouth Road/Leigh Road junction, Eastleigh.

10. PROJECT APPRAISAL: B2177 ROUTE CORRIDOR STRATEGY - TWYFORD VILLAGE

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for pedestrian and environmental improvements in Twyford village.

11. PROJECT APPRAISAL: A339 HACKWOOD ROAD, BASINGSTOKE - PROPOSED PUFFIN CROSSING

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for the installation of a signal controlled pedestrian crossing on the A339 Hackwood Road, Basingstoke.

12. PROJECT APPRAISAL: FARNBOROUGH TOWN CENTRE DIRECTION SIGNS

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for new direction signs in Farnborough town centre.

13. PROJECT APPRAISAL: EUROPEAN UNION - CIVITAS INITIATIVE - MIRACLES PROJECT

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for the installation of public transport information infrastructure and support and environmentally friendly vehicles as part of the MIRACLES project.

14. TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER: STREET PARKING IN THE SHERBORNE ROAD AREA, BASINGSTOKE

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval for an Order to be made under the Road Traffic Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose new on-street parking controls including limited waiting restrictions, residents' parking areas or a combination of the two within the Sherborne Road area of Basingstoke.

15. GRANT TO THE FRIENDS OF HYDE ABBEY GARDENS

    To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a grant from the Archaeology and Heritage budget to the Friends of Hyde Abbey Gardens for the Hyde Abbey Garden Jubilee Project.
