5. ORGANISATION OF PRIMARY EDUCATION IN THE BUCKSKIN AREA OF BASINGSTOKE (Report herewith)


    To consider a report of the County Education Officer on the outcome of consultations relating to the possible amalgamation of Worting Infant and Worting Junior Schools.

6. REVENUE BUDGET 2003/4 (Report to follow)
To consider a report of the County Treasurer and County Education Officer on the proposed Education Revenue Budget for 2003/4.

    Under section 100 (B)(4)(b) of the Local government Act 1972, the chairman of the committee has given consent to this item being dealt with as a matter of urgency, because of the need for the revenue budget to be considered by the Schools Forum and for their views to be incorporated in to the report. It will, therefore, be circulated as a late item.

7. CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2003/04 to 2006/07 (Report herewith)

    To consider the report of the County Education Officer and the County Treasurer on the proposed Education Programme.

    To consider the report of the County Education Officer and Director of Social Services on the partnership arrangements being developed to further the County Council's corporate preventative work for children in need and on the draft Children's Fund Plan.

12. ADVANCED SCHOOLS (Report herewith)

    To consider a report of the County Education Officer setting out a proposed policy in respect of applications from schools for advanced school status.

13. MEMBERS' QUESTIONS

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor, qualify for travelling expenses.

Appointed and co-opted members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
