1. The Standards Board for England has made arrangements for the 2003 conference for Standards Committee Members to be held in Birmingham on 9/10 June 2003.

2. At the October meeting of the Committee, it was agreed that the availability of Members should be canvassed to establish how many would be able to attend. Positive replies have been received from Councillor Pierce, Councillor Ludlow and from Mr. Chester.

RECOMMENDATION

Councillor Pierce, Councillor Ludlow and Mr. Chester be authorised to attend the Standards Board 2003 conference in Birmingham, and that their conference and travel expenses be paid.
