1. Summary

1.1 This report summarises progress with regard to regularizing vehicular access rights over County Council owned common land.

1 Access Over County Council Owned Common Land.

1.1 At his December Decision-making meeting the Executive Member for Policy & Resources approved a new Policy for the grant of vehicular access rights over County Council owned common land. A copy of the report and Amended Decision is attached.

1.2 A new Procedure is to be produced by which applications for Statutory Easements and negotiated Deeds of Grant are to be handled and access arrangements are to be monitored in implementing the new policy.

Recommendation

That the report be noted.
