5. CAPITAL PROGRAMME - UPDATE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment on the revised integrated transport programme for 2002/03, a new programme for 2003/04 and proposed reassessment of schemes for possible inclusion in the 2004/05 programme.

6. POLICY AND SCHEME UPDATE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment setting out the progress on several studies and schemes being undertaken to implement the Central Hampshire Area Rural Transport Strategy, including the Highways Agency's A3 Hindhead scheme.

7. TAPESTRY UPDATE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment providing an update on Hampshire County Council's partnership in a three year European Community project for Travel Awareness, Publicity and Education supporting a Sustainability Strategy in Europe (TAPESTRY), focusing on Stage 2, the development and implementation of an `interactive' marketing campaign, and Stage 3, the `after' monitoring and evaluation of the project.

8. CENTRAL HAMPSHIRE RURAL TRANSPORT STRATEGY MONITORING
(Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment summarising the monitoring exercise undertaken in 2002 as part of the Central Hampshire Rural Transport Strategy (CHARTS). The report details results of Hampshire County Council's travel attitude surveys (TRANSPOL), and results gained from surveys undertaken before and after the opening of the Tesco Store in Petersfield.

9. DATE OF NEXT MEETING

It is proposed to hold the next meeting of the Central Hampshire Area Rural Transportation Strategy Panel on Wednesday 12 November 2003 at 2.00 p.m. at East Hampshire District Council Offices.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
