10. TOTTON TOWN CENTRE IMPROVEMENT PROPOSALS: REPORT ON PUBLIC CONSULTATION (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment and the Head of Policy, Design and Information (New Forest District Council) summarising the background to the consultation and its outcomes and suggest the further development of the proposals for the town centre and the preparation of the Supplementary Planning Guidance for adoption by New Forest District Council. It also details of a special meeting held in January 2003 which considered the outcomes of the consultation.
11. DECRIMINILISATION OF ON-STREET PARKING ENFORCEMENT (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment providing an update on the latest position of New Forest District Council and Test Valley Borough Council with regard to the taking on of powers of decriminalised parking enforcement. The report also updates the Panel of the recent decisions taken by the Executive Member for Environment on decriminalised parking powers within the borough of Eastleigh.
12. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
It was proposed that the next meeting of the South West Hampshire Transportation Panel should be held on Tuesday 4 November 2003 at 10.00 am at Hampshire County Council Offices, The Castle, Winchester.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
