To consider a report of the Director of Environment providing a progress update on key traffic management schemes within the Andover Transport Strategy and the Western Hampshire Transport Strategy areas.
7. WESTERN HAMPSHIRE TRANSPORT STRATEGY - CONSULTATION
AND REVISED STRATEGY (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing the comments received on the Strategy made by stakeholders and members of the public and Hampshire County Council's response to these comments, and details of actions arising from stakeholder comments; and the changes to the Strategy as a result of the stakeholders response.
8. CANGO - RURAL BUS CHALLENGE FUND (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Director of Environment outlining the progress of the new Cango demand - responsive services which were launched in Test Valley on 28 June 2002 as part of Hampshire County Council's new approach to providing transport in rural areas of Hampshire.
9. ANDOVER HIGH STREET - UPDATE (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Head of Planning Services (Test Valley Borough Council) providing an update on the outcome of the Public Inquiry and subsequent Secretary of State's recommendation to progress the Order to facilitate improvements to Andover High Street. The report also outlines the next stages prior to implementation of the proposals.
10. DECRIMINALISED PARKING ENFORCEMENT (Report herewith)
To consider a report of the Head of Planning Services (Test Valley Borough Council) providing a progress update on the proposed implementation of a special parking area in the Test Valley Borough.
11. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
It is proposed that the next meeting of the Andover and Western Hampshire Transportation Panel be held on Thursday 16 October 2003 at 2.00 p.m. at The Guildhall, Andover.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
