West of Waterlooville Forum - Appointment of a Deputy Representative

1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

To approve the appointment of Councillor Jenny Wride to act as a deputy for the County Council's three representatives on the West of Waterlooville Forum.

2. Reason

Winchester City Council, who administer the Forum, wrote to the Chief Executive on 22 January 2003 inviting the County Council to appoint a deputy for each of its three representatives: Councillors Beagley, Mrs Hindson and McIntosh. After due consideration, the County Council wish to appoint just one Councillor who could deputise for any of the three appointed representatives.
