INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND
ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval to award the term contract for the installation and maintenance of traffic signal and associated equipment.

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval for the Chief Executive to conclude an appropriate legal Agreement with Barrett Southampton, in relation to the making of a financial contribution towards improvements to all modes of transport in the Hamble Lane corridor between the site at Ensign Way, Hamble-le-Rice and Windhover Roundabout.

4. PROJECT APPRAISAL: SAFER ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROGRAMME IN BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a Project Appraisal for the proposed implementation of three Safer Routes to School packages in Basingstoke, to be fully funded by the Borough Council.

9. CANGO - RURAL BUS CHALLENGE FUND (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment detailing progress on the latest stage of the new Cango demand-responsive services and seeking endorsement as part of the County Council's new approach to providing transport in rural areas of Hampshire.

10. NEW FOREST COMMUNITY TRANSPORT SCHEME FUNDING

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval of a grant in 2003/04 from the Community Transport budget to Community First for the operation of the New Forest Community Transport Scheme and the New Forest Shopping Trips service.

11. AGENCY ARRANGEMENTS WITH DISTRICT COUNCILS

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking approval for the existing Agency arrangements with District Councils for the delivery of highway related services on Traffic Management, Development Control, grass cutting and tree maintenance, and capital programme scheme preparation, design and implementation to continue from 1 April 2003 for a period of six months or until such time as a further Agreement is concluded.

12. APPLICATION BY THE ROYAL SOUTHERN YACHT CLUB TO INSTALL ELECTRICAL AND POTABLE WATER SUPPLY TO TWO OFF-SHORE PONTOONS, ADJACENT TO THE CLUB AT ROPE WALK, HAMBLE-LE-RICE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking a decision that Harbour Authority consent be granted under Section 10 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1924 and Section 48 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1949 to the Royal Southern Yacht Club to install sub-sea electrical and water supply/ connection to two off-shore pontoons, subject to the conditions detailed in the report.

13. APPLICATION BY THE WARSASH SAILING CLUB TO DRIVE AN ADDITIONAL PILE TO SECURE THE CLUB JETTY EXTENSION

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking a decision that Harbour Authority consent be granted under Section 10 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1924 and Section 48 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1949 to the Warsash Sailing Club to drive an additional pile, in accordance with the method statement agreed with the Environment Agency.

14. APPLICATION BY STONE PIER YARD, WARSASH TO EXTEND `A' PONTOON TO REPLACE 24 METRES OF QUAY LOST BY THE RE-OPENING OF THE FUEL FACILITY (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Director of Environment seeking a decision that Harbour Authority consent be granted under Section 10 of the Southampton
Harbour Act 1924 and Section 48 of the Southampton Harbour Act 1949 to Warsash Marine to extend `A' pontoon by 10 metres, to be secured by a driven


pile in accordance with the method statement agreed with the Environment Agency.

15. WEST OF WATERLOOVILLE FORUM - APPOINTMENT OF A DEPUTY REPRESENTATIVE (Report herewith)

To consider a report of the Chief Executive seeking approval of the appointment of a Councillor to act as a deputy for any of the three County Council representatives on the West of Waterlooville Forum.
