1 Summary

1.1 This report lists acknowledgements and thanks from grant recipients, sets out a summary of the project development grant applications received since the last meeting of the panel on 12 November 2002 and recommends to the Executive Member for Education allocations totalling £19,700.

1 Acknowledgements

1.1 Members will be pleased to learn that letters of thanks in acknowledgement of grants or reports of trips undertaken have been received from Girlguiding Hampshire East, The Carroll Youth Centre. They are tabled in the acknowledgements file and are available at the meeting for Members' information.

2 Budget 2002/03

2.1 The revenue grant budget for the 2002/03 financial year and details of grant allocations already determined by the previous meetings of the sub-committee are as follows:

Recommendation

That the Executive Member for Education be advised:

That the grant allocations as set out in the appendix and summarised below, totalling £19,700 be approved.

That the remaining £27,050 be transferred to capital to support the planned building improvements at Hamble Youth Centre.
