Bramshaw

1st stage of works were completed in August 2001. 2nd stage works include improved warning signs, road markings and road layout on the B3079 between Burnford House and Burnford Lodge. Project also includes modification to road bends at Brook and the B3078/B3079 junction.

Draft scheme in preparation.

Bransgrove

Burley Road, including Crown crossroads, signs and road markings. Parish Council has allocated up to £2,000.

Scheme completed in November 2002.

Copythorne

Windsor Road: Signs and road markings plus coloured surfacing "footway" at school entrance.

PC contributions of £500 supplemented by highway maintenance funds.

Completed March 2001.

Godshill

B3078: Gateway signs and road markings.

PC has allocated up to £3,000.

Trial scheme agreed and to be implemented.

Work ordered by Atkins.

Sandleheath

Alderholt Road: Gateway signs and road markings. PC has allocated up to £1,000.

Scheme agreed, lining scheme being implemented. TRO for speed limit extension being processed.

Calmore

Traffic calming measures including chicanes, build-outs and a change of road priority.

Trial scheme installed.

Fawley

Traffic calming.

2003/04 Programme.

Extension of speed limit being progressed to 30 mph.
