That, by virtue of paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for consideration of the following items.

To consider the confidential report of the County Personnel and Training Officer which provides a summary of progress to date on the pay and benefits project and identifies key stages for the next phase.

7. NATIONAL PAY COMMISSION (Report to follow)

To consider the confidential report of the County Personnel and Training Officer on progress on the national pay review.

8. A-G SALARY REVIEW (Report to follow)

To consider the confidential report of the County Personnel and Training Officer which considers the national and local pay data which is relevant to the annual pay review for staff on Hampshire Grades A-G

9. CHIEF OFFICER SALARY REVIEW (Report to follow)

To consider the confidential report of the County Personnel and Training Officer regarding the current salary position for the County Council's comparator organisations.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this committee/sub-committee/panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
